There are several possibilities to obtain funding or financial assistance for training

200 Hour Training Scholarships

Our scholarships are an award of financial aid to assist 'outstanding' students who are on a low income to complete the Teacher Training course.

Financial Awards

Due to the nature of the courses, there is a difference in the amount of award between our Residential and Non Residential courses.
 

  • Non-Residential Course Awards - £1000.00 rebate
  • Residential Course Awards - £800.00 rebate

 
Qualifying Criteria
Scholarships are awarded on the following three criteria:
Income

Level of expertise in practice

Yogic Lifestyle

Income

To qualify you must show evidence of one of the following:

  • Receiving Income Support or similar Benefits Scheme
  • Income of below £10,000.00 (ten thousand pounds) gross, per annum

 
Level of Expertise in Practice
Successful students will be required to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga.

Some indicators of the level required include:

  • Ability to successfully lift and jump through in the Vinyasa
  • Complete the Primary Series with consistent and correct Ujjayi Breath
  • Perform all the asanas of the Primary Series correctly
  • Drop back from standing Urdhva Danurasana and return to standing

 
Yogic Lifestyle

  • Students should be on 100% vegetarian diet.

We offer only one scholarship per course and reserve the right to refuse and / or decline applications without reason.

Business Link Funding for New Businesses

If you are setting up a new business, you may receive financial support towards your training course if it will help you in establishing your business.

A number of our current trainess have been successful in obtaining financial support. However you must contact a Business Link advisor in your region to explore the possibilities.
